Casual positions for Drivers/Guides

Responsible for delivering tours in the company’s Stretched Jeeps around Magnetic Island.

Duties Include

Driving/Guiding. Collection of tickets/monies. Delivering safety brief and ensuring customers are shown an informative Tropicana time including supervision and entertainment of guests.

Essential Qualities

Queensland Drivers licence. Queensland Transport Driver Authority (or ability to obtain) http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/Home/Licensing/Authorisations/Driver_authorisations/.
First aid certificate (or ability to obtain) http://www.ambulance.qld.gov.au/communityservices/learnfirstaid.asp.
Working with Children Blue card http://www.ccypcg.qld.gov.au/employment/bluecard/informationSheets.html.
The ability to safely drive our fleet of Stretch Jeeps. Personal commitment to giving each client the best possible experience. Understanding of the environmental issues of Townsville and Magnetic Island. Well developed communication skills, resourcefulness and the ability to interact with all age groups and cultures. Ability to follow instructions and be flexible and responsive enough to adapt to changes. Energetic, well presented, enthusiastic, punctual, honest, reliable and polite nature. But most of all, be fun to be around!
